Rita is an experienced executive with a unique background in sales, operations, and human capital. She brings respect, empathy, and results to every role. With over 20 years at News America Marketing, a $1B division of News Corporation, she began her career in sales and later served as Chief Human Resources Officer managing 800 full-time and 2,500 part-time employees, overseeing the entire employee lifecycle, talent management, benefits and more. She was subsequently appointed Chief Operating Officer responsible for $400M operating budget.
She transitioned to an angel investor, human resources consultant, and mentor. As the Founder/Principle of Ozma Advisory, she guides leaders and their teams in developing organizational structures that simplify complexity, facilitate innovation, and focus on human capital development. Leveraging her CTA and Barrett Values certifications as a coach and trainer to help individuals and organizations assess and align their values, goals, and performance.
Rita is known for her ability to lead teams, challenge respectfully, and deliver scalable strategic improvements. She is the Chairperson of the Rye City Human Rights Commission (mayoral appointee) and board member of the Greenwich YMCA.
